Horton Plains & World's End Trek
World’s End is the dramatic centerpiece of Horton Plains National Park, featuring a staggering 880-metre vertical drop that offers one of the most spectacular panoramic views in Sri Lanka’s central highlands. Reached via a scenic 9.5 km circular nature trail through misty cloud forests and golden montane grasslands, this sheer escarpment allows hikers to look out over a vast valley of tea plantations and distant mountain ranges, sometimes stretching as far as the Indian Ocean on exceptionally clear mornings.
